Biography

John Visser has served as our independent director since August 2023. He has been the EVP of Operations since May 2024 responsible for dōTERRA International’s global operations to include sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, inventory control, supply and demand planning, trade compliance and data governance. Prior, he was the Vice President of Global Logistics for dōTERRA since August 2018. Previously, he worked at Walmart, Inc. for almost 19 years where he had multiple responsibilities to include overseas expat assignments. He served as vice president in various roles responsible for leading teams to manage operations, provide strategic direction, develop talent, export process efficiency expertise and drive cost optimization for Walmart's international markets. John has also served on Brigham Young University’s Global Supply Chain Advisory Board since 2011. He received his bachelor’s degree in Spanish Translation from Brigham Young University in 1992 and his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1996.
